Iran says still has no date for Khamenei ceremony three months after killing
Tehran is preparing for a “magnificent” ceremony expected to draw tens of millions of people for its slain supreme leader Ali Khamenei, though the date has not yet been finalized, Mohsen Mahmoudi, head of Tehran’s Islamic Propagation Coordination Council, said.
Khamenei was killed on February 28 in an airstrike that started a 38-day war between Iran and the United States and Israel.
