Iran says its forces targeted US support vessel near Oman

A US military support vessel was targeted by Iran’s armed forces early on Saturday at a considerable distance from the Omani port of Salalah, said Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters spokesperson.

Ebrahim Zolfaghari added that Iran respected the national sovereignty of Oman despite the operation taking place near its coast.
