Too early to judge economic impact of Middle East conflict, IMF says

The International Monetary Fund said on Tuesday that it was closely monitoring developments in the Middle East, citing disruptions to trade and economic activity, rising energy prices and increased financial market volatility.

The IMF said it was too early to assess the regional or global economic impact, which it said would depend on the extent and duration of the conflict.
