Iran MP says ‘excessive generosity’ in US talks made Tehran look weak

The spokesman for Iran’s parliamentary National Security Committee criticized Tehran’s approach to negotiations with Washington, saying “excessive generosity” at the negotiating table had led the United States to believe Iran was weak.

Ebrahim Rezaei wrote on X that such an approach had changed “the enemy’s calculations,” making it think Iran could be “swallowed.”
