Russia says ready to help facilitate US-Iran talks
Russia is ready to help facilitate talks between Washington and Tehran, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the state-run TASS news agency, as uncertainty continues over whether diplomacy can avert renewed conflict.
Moscow has repeatedly offered its assistance in mediating between the United States and Iran while warning against further military escalation and urging a return to negotiations.
