Germany says Iran war likely to hit economy in second quarter

Germany’s economy is likely to take a significant hit from the Iran war in the second quarter, after growth reached just 0.3% in the first quarter, Reuters reported, citing the federal economy ministry.

“Rising prices, supply chain issues and uncertainty are weighing on sentiment among businesses and households,” the ministry said in its monthly report on Friday.
