Parliament deputy speaker says Iran became ‘fourth superpower’
Iranian parliament deputy speaker Hamidreza Haji Babaei said Sunday Iran has “officially become the world’s fourth superpower” adding that control over the Strait of Hormuz belongs permanently to the Iranian nation.
“Today the Strait of Hormuz belongs forever to the great nation of Iran, and no ship or oil tanker can pass through it without Iran’s permission,” Haji Babaei said.
