Iran says drone downed over Shiraz, suggests regional states' involvement
Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said a drone was downed over the southern city of Shiraz and suggested it could point to the involvement of regional states in US and Israeli military actions, without naming the countries.
“This drone was downed by our brave armed forces over beloved city of Hafiz and Saadi, Shiraz,” Baghaei said in a post on X.
“It could be another evidence of direct participation and active complicity of some states of the region in US/Israel crime of aggression and war crimes against Iran,” he added.
“Clarification is needed by either of the two states of the region that are the users of this drone,” he said, without identifying them.
