Iran’s new Supreme Leader rejected proposals sent to the foreign ministry through two intermediary countries and told a foreign policy meeting that it was “not the right time for peace,” Reuters cited a senior Iranian official as saying.
The official said Mojtaba Khamenei believed the United States and Israel must first be defeated and made to pay compensation.
