Iran FM warns of retaliation over 'bank strike'
Iran’s foreign minister warned of retaliation after a strike on a branch of one of the country’s oldest banks that he said was full of employees preparing for the Persian New Year on March 20.
Writing on X, he said workers had been trying to ensure families had food “on the table” ahead of the holiday and accused Iran’s adversaries of targeting national infrastructure, adding that the country’s armed forces would respond.
