Trump thanks NATO chief over support for Iran mission

US President Donald Trump thanked NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Thursday and shared a report citing Rutte as saying US allies broadly support Trump’s Iran mission.

“Thank you to our great NATO Secretary General! President DJT,” Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social, linking to a Newsmax interview in which Rutte said “allies are basically, on a massive scale, supportive of what the president is doing and are also enabling what the US is doing now in the region.”
