Russia warns Iran conflict could fuel nuclear proliferation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday there are growing risks that nuclear proliferation could get out of control amid the conflict involving Iran.

Lavrov said the war against Iran could spur moves to obtain a nuclear weapon not only in Iran but also in Arab countries, warning that rising tensions and military action carry broader proliferation risks
