Family worried after reports British couple denied care in Iran prison

The family of British nationals Lindsay and Craig Foreman said on Tuesday they were “desperately worried” after that the couple were being denied medical care and basic supplies during a hunger strike in Tehran’s Evin prison.
The family said Craig had been on hunger strike for nine weeks and Lindsay for eight weeks, with both suffering severe weight loss.
Their son, Joe Bennett, is due to meet British MPs in Parliament on Wednesday to press for urgent action.
The family urged the UK government to demand independent medical access, delivery of withheld supplies and the couple’s release.
