Iran warns of stronger response if Israel escalates Lebanon attacks

"(Iran) had previously warned that if crimes in Beirut's Dahiyeh expanded, we would strike targets in the occupied territories," Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters said in a statement carried by state broadcaster IRIB.

It added that Israel would face "more forceful and regret-inducing blows" if it expanded attacks on southern Lebanon and Beirut's Dahiyeh district or responded to Iran's action.
