Iran’s Ebadi, Panahi named to Time’s 2026 list of 100 most influential people
Time Magazine has listed Iranian Nobel Peace Prize laureate Shirin Ebadi and Palme d’Or-winning filmmaker Jafar Panahi among the world’s 100 most influential people for 2026.
Ebadi was named in the Icons category, while Panahi was included in the Artists category in the publication’s annual list honoring global figures across politics, culture, and civil society.
