Mar 19, 2026, 10:24 GMT+0

Afshin Naghshbandi, the armed forces general staff’s representative to the Basij paramilitary force, had been killed in US-Israeli airstrikes, state media reported.

Naghshbandi had said after the 12-day war that there should be no doubt the Islamic Republic and its armed forces were the definitive winners of the conflict.
