US crude tops $100 as war fears drive fresh surge

When futures trading resumed at 6 p.m. ET, US benchmark West Texas Intermediate climbed more than 2% to about $102 a barrel. The international benchmark Brent crude also advanced, reaching roughly $106 a barrel.
