France says Tehran must make 'major concessions' to avert war

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot on Sunday called on Tehran to seize the US' offer of negotiations and "resolve to make major concessions and a radical change of posture" to avert a US attack.
"Iran must stop being a threat to its regional environment and to our security interests, and the Iranian people must regain their freedom. The repression and state violence that has been indiscriminately inflicted on peaceful demonstrators constitutes a mass crime that cannot go unpunished," he told Liberation.
