Lifting sanctions won’t solve Iran's economic crisis, trade adviser warns

A senior adviser to Tehran’s Chamber of Commerce said Iran’s economic woes would persist even if all sanctions were lifted overnight.

“Even if all sanctions are lifted in a single night, no problems will be solved. It might even worsen corruption as the government becomes wealthier,” Bahman Eshghi said.
