The commanders of the General Staff of the US and Russian Armed Forces held a six-hour meeting in Helsinki


For the first time since 2019, Mark Millie, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and his Russian counterpart, Valery Grasimov, met for six hours in Helsinki, Finland. According to a brief US military statement, the talks were aimed at "reducing the potential risk and operational disputes."
