Shahrzad Akbar in the European Parliament's Human Rights Committee: Do not support a government that oppresses women

Shahrzad Akbar, head of the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission in the European Parliament's Human Rights Committee, called on European governments not to support a government that suppresses women's fundamental rights. He called on European countries to stand by the people of Afghanistan, not to look away and not to forget them.
