Iran says attack on desalination plant cuts drinking water to 20 villages
An attack on the Bonji desalination plant left 20 villages west of Jask in southern Iran without drinking water, the ISNA news agency reported.
Abdolhamid Hamzehpour, head of Hormozgan Province's water and wastewater company, said the facility’s raw water intake station and electrical transformer had been completely destroyed in the recent attacks.
