Bahrain says 11-year-old girl lightly injured following Iran attack

An 11-year-old girl was lightly injured in Bahrain by falling debris from intercepted Iranian drones and was treated at the scene, the interior ministry said on Thursday.

The ministry said the debris also set vehicles on fire and damaged homes in Hamad Town and the capital Manama, adding that civil defense and emergency services had taken necessary measures.

IRGC says approaching Hormuz will mean aiding enemy

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards said on Thursday that any vessel approaching the Strait of Hormuz would be “cooperating with the enemy.”

The IRGC Navy said the waterway would be closed until further notice and warned that no vessel should move from its anchorage in the Persian Gulf or the Sea of Oman.

It added that the closure followed what it called repeated US violations of the ceasefire.
