Iran military fully prepared to counter any threat on Kharg Island, MP says

The head of Iranian parliament’s national security and foreign policy committee said US President Donald Trump would receive a response that would be recorded in history if he took any “miscalculated” action against Iran, after Trump said he would prefer to take Kharg Island.

Ebrahim Azizi said the US president was “delusional” and that Iran’s combat capability on Kharg Island was very high.

“The country’s armed forces are at the highest level of readiness, and security across all parts of Iran has been strongly ensured,” Azizi said.
