US F-16 'was repelled' after entering Persian Gulf airspace - report

Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB said a US F-16 fighter jet entered airspace over the Persian Gulf on Wednesday and was targeted by Iranian air defense systems after which the fighter jet was “repelled” and moved away from the area.
