Only eight ships pass through Hormuz as 500 stranded in Persian Gulf

Only eight vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend as Israel and Iran traded strikes, while about 500 commercial ships and 11,000 seafarers remain stranded in the Persian Gulf over fears of Iranian attacks, according to maritime monitors.
