warning shots fired at ‘non-compliant’ vessels near Strait of Hormuz, Iran says
Iran’s military said on Thursday that warning shots were fired at four vessels near the Strait of Hormuz after what it described as an attempt to pass through the strategic waterway without coordination.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy fired warning shots at four vessels it described as “offending” ships attempting to transit the strait without prior coordination, ILNA reported.
