Iran destroyed more than two dozen US Reaper drones - Bloomberg
Iran has destroyed more than two dozen MQ-9 Reaper drones operated by US forces since the start of the war, according to a Bloomberg report citing unnamed sources.
The losses are estimated at around $1 billion, nearly 20% of the Pentagon’s pre-war inventory of the drones.
Bloomberg said some were downed by Iranian air defenses mid-flight, while others were destroyed on the ground during missile strikes on US facilities or lost in operational accidents.
