Message attributed to Iran’s supreme leader urges population growth
A message attributed to Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Tuesday said his late father had viewed population growth and promoting childbearing as among the Islamic Republic’s most important strategic issues.
The message comes as Khamenei has not been seen publicly since his appointment as supreme leader after his father, Ali Khamenei, was killed in US-Israeli strikes on February 28.
