Germany urges Iran to seize ceasefire window for peace talks

Germany on Thursday urged Iran to use the extension of the US-Iran ceasefire to return to peace talks, saying the moment offered “an important opportunity” to resume negotiations and avoid further escalation, while stressing the Strait of Hormuz should remain permanently open.
