Two US Navy guided-missile destroyers passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, The Wall Street Journal reported citing three US officials, confirming an earlier report by Axios.
"No issues were reported, and the move was described as a freedom-of-navigation mission," the report said, adding that the vessels were not escorting commercial ships.
