Airstrikes hit multiple Tehran districts, explosions reported across city

Airstrikes targeted multiple areas of Tehran on Wednesday afternoon, with explosions heard across the capital, eyewitnesses told Iran International.Iranian media also reported that blasts were heard in northeastern and western Tehran, including near Lavizan and Seyed Khandan.Eyewitnesses reported repeated explosions in western districts such as Shahrak-e Gharb, Chitgar and the Olympic area. They also reported blasts in Sabilan in eastern Tehran and southern Jannat Abad.Additional explosions were reported in Karaj, west of Tehran, as well as in Tabriz in northwest Iran and Shiraz in southern Iran.
