Iran internet blackout enters 30th day, NetBlocks says

Mar 29, 2026, 10:30 GMT+1

Iran’s nationwide internet blackout has entered its 30th day, with connectivity to the outside world still at just 1% of ordinary levels, internet monitoring group NetBlocks said on Sunday.

The shutdown has now lasted 696 hours and extended into a fifth week, adding to wartime pressure on civilians who remain cut off from independent information and alerts.
