Iran appoints up to 7 successors for officials and military commanders
Iran designated between three and seven replacements for all sensitive government positions and military commanders, so that administration and defense operations continue without interruption in case of any incident, Fars News Agency reported on Tuesday.
The IRGC‑linked outlet cited a source saying the measure follows recent US–Israeli assassinations of officials aimed at weakening public morale.
