Pakistan deploys navy to escort vessels in Middle East

The Pakistani navy says its warships will accompany the country’s commercial ships in the Middle East to safeguard the steady supply of energy to Pakistan.

It said two vessels belonging to the national shipping company are already being escorted, sharing photos on social media showing a naval warship sailing alongside an oil tanker carrying crude.
