Detainees freed from prison after airstrikes in western Iran - rights group

All detainees held at the Central Prison of Marivan in western Iran’s Kurdistan Province were released shortly after Israeli and US fighter jets bombed military and intelligence facilities in the city on Monday, Norway-based rights group Hengaw reported.

The rights group did not provide details on the number of detainees released or their identities.
