Israel names operation against Iran ‘Lion’s Roar’
Israel has named its operation against Iran “Lion’s Roar,” with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu choosing the title after the military had initially used a different internal name.
The previous Israeli operation targeting Iran in June 2025 was called “Rising Lion.”
