Tehran praises Telegram, accuses WhatsApp of Israeli espionage

Iran's state broadcaster says WhatsApp will remain blocked in the country because it served "the Zionist enemy.”

Telegram - believed to be the messaging application with most users in Iran - will be unblocked, however, because "it was neutral and stood on the right side," according to the report.
