A strike on Wednesday targeted the headquarters of the police intelligence protection unit (NAJA) in Tehran, an audience told Iran International.
The report coincides with Israeli military announcements of ongoing operations against military targets across the Iranian capital, following multiple explosions heard in various districts.
Israeli air force has destroyed the headquarters of Iran’s internal security agency, Defense Minister Israel Katz said Wednesday.

Residents shared footage with Iran International on Wednesday showing major explosions across eastern and western Tehran.
One video captured a powerful blast in the mountains east of the capital, striking the Nobonyad area.
Other videos showed explosions in Phase 8 of Pardis to the east, Shahrak-e Esteghlal near Chitgar in the west, and renewed Israeli strikes on Shahran—where a fuel depot was previously targeted.
Another explosion was reported near Seoul Street in northern Tehran.
Ongoing attacks in eastern Tehran—specifically in the areas of Khojir and Parchin—were heavy, a citizen told Iran International on Wednesday.
The individual shared video footage of heavy smoke rising from the area.
Israeli firefighters and hazardous materials teams on Wednesday inspected a ballistic missile fragment found in an olive grove in the Galilee region of northern Israel, the Israel Fire and Rescue Services Northern District spokesperson said.

French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has published a cartoon showing three Iranian clerics without their turbans, holding a banner that reads "Khamenei, Life, Freedom" — a play on the 2022 protest slogan "Woman, Life, Freedom" that became the rallying cry of Iran’s boldest uprising against the Islamic Republic in decades.
The cartoon appeared in the latest issue released Wednesday, under the title: The mullahs remove their veils in Tehran, portraying a reversal of Iran’s compulsory hijab laws.
The magazine also ran a mock obituary, featuring a photo of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei with a black ribbon and a fictional death date marked only as a question mark in June 2025.
Below it, the caption read: “The first one to find the date wins a trip to Tehran.”
