Qatar warns of regional concern over Israeli attack on South Pars gas field
Qatar's foreign ministry said on Monday that the targeting of Iran’s South Pars gas field has raised regional concerns over energy security, calling the incident uncalculated and “worrying everyone” about gas supplies.
However, the spokesperson added that Qatar’s own gas facilities remainunaffected and supplies are currently normal.
South Pars, which straddles the maritime border between Iran and Qatar, is the world’s largest gas field.
