Hamas appoints Muhammad Ismail Darwish as new interim leader

Saudi Arabia-based Al Arabiya news channel, citing anonymous sources, reported that Mohammad Ismail Darwish will succeed Ismail Haniyeh as the head of Hamas's political bureau.

According to these sources, Darwish, who resides in Qatar, will lead the political bureau until new leadership elections are held.
