Mehr News Agency reported that several thousand pilgrims of the Arbaeen ceremony have gathered at the border of Shalamcheh, and several hundred pilgrims have been suspended at the gate of Iraq after crossing the Iranian gate. Despite officials insisting that traffic be banned from the land border to Iraq, the Shalamcheh and Mehran borders were reopened for several hours on Saturday.
