Javed Rahman, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on human rights in Iran, and a number of human rights experts called on Iran to halt the imminent execution of the Kurdish prisoner Haider Qurbani, and to annul his death sentence. They expressed serious concern about the unfair trial and pre-trial torture he was subjected to.
