Amnesty International calls for follow-up on the case of the 1988 massacre in Iran

Amnesty International said, on the occasion of the International Day of Victims of Enforced Disappearances, that it supports Maryam Akbari Monfared, a prisoner who was subjected to retaliation by the Iranian authorities, after she complained about the enforced disappearance of her sister and brother in the 1988 massacre in Iran. The organization demanded to follow up the case of executions in 1988.
