Ten civilians, including several young children, were killed in a US drone strike on an ISIL vehicle in Kabul on Sunday afternoon, according to the Washington Post. The families of the victims reported the matter to the Washington Post on Monday

The UN Security Council issued a statement urging the Taliban to honor its commitment to allowing people to leave Afghanistan freely. The statement did not mention France's proposal to establish a safe zone in Kabul. The resolution passed with 13 votes in favor and two abstentions from Russia and China
