Iran says some countries excluded from Khamenei funeral invite over war stance
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Thursday that countries that took an “inappropriate” position toward the US and Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic, or defended it, were not invited to slain former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s funeral.
He added that official delegations and grassroots groups from Eastern Europe would attend the ceremony.
