Iranian MP says future of US talks hinges on trust steps

Further progress in talks between Tehran and Washington depends on whether US confidence-building measures deliver tangible results, the head of Iran’s parliament national security committee said on Tuesday.

“No action will be taken unless the Islamic Republic’s interests are fully secured,” Ebrahim Azizi said, adding that parliament was closely monitoring the negotiations and urging the public not to worry about the process.
