Bahrain sentences five to life over Iran-linked plot
Five people were sentenced to life in prison for planning “terrorist and hostile acts” with Iran, Bahraini authorities said on Tuesday.
“The Public Prosecution affirms that the crime of communicating with hostile foreign entities against the Kingdom of Bahrain is considered one of the most serious crimes affecting national security,” the public prosecution said in a statement posted on X.
