Iranian prosecutor says two foreign nationals among four detained in Jolfa
The prosecutor in Jolfa, East Azarbaijan province, said four people, including two foreign nationals, had been arrested by intelligence ministry agents over what he described as intelligence activity and links to networks affiliated with Israel and the United States.
He said the two foreign nationals were accused of bringing several Starlink satellite internet devices into Iran and operating in that area.
The prosecutor added that cases had been opened against all four and that judicial proceedings were under way.
