Qatar's emir receives letter from Iran’s president, Doha says

Qatar's emir has received a letter from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the state’s foreign ministry said on Wednesday.

The ministry did not disclose the contents of the message.

Qatar, which maintains close ties with both Washington and Tehran, has recently urged the United States to push Israel toward a ceasefire and to resume nuclear negotiations with Iran, a source told Reuters earlier this week.
